Al Raha Beach, Abu Dhabi
Al Raha Beach is a breathtaking new city spread lavishly over 500 hectares, located on the beach side of the main highway leading into Abu Dhabi from Dubai.The development consists of eleven precincts. Some are relaxed beachfront communities, some offer a vibrant café society lifestyle, while others are home to businesses. The development comprises 700 buildings and Locke Carey advised on the site-wide Fire Strategy.
Mall of Arabia (City of Arabia)
Locke Carey have provided strategic fire engineering advice and fire & smoke modelling services for the Mall of Arabia, due to open in 2010.
The Mall of Arabia is unique in terms of its sheer size, capacity and diversity and is destined to become one of the world’s finest shopping resorts, with more than 1,000 retail outlets offering diversity and variety, two rooftop hotels, the incredible Restless Planet ‘edutainment’ experience and waterfront. The Mall of Arabia development totals 7.5 millions sqft and is approximately 5 times larger than Europe's largest mall.
The Dubai Metro
This $4.2 Billion dollar project was constructed for the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The project was officially launched in March 2006 and is the UAE’s first light rail transport system.
The driverless train, which is totally automated, will come into operation for public use by 2009, and will be an ultra-modern public transport facility.
Locke Carey provided Strategic Fire Engineering and Fire Modeling for the project.
Saud Bahwan Group Corporate Centre, Muscat, Oman
Locke Carey was appointed by the contractors Galfar Engineering to design the Fire Protection systems including automatic sprinklers, hose reels, hydrants and clean agent suppression systems for the integrated facility of Saud Bahwan Group corporate headquarters. 
National Bank OF Dubai , UAE
Locke Carey was appointed by BK Gulf to carry out a Fire Safety Audit of the national bank of Dubai to establish the current status of the building's fire safety provisions in terms of its construction, the physical means of escape, the standard of fire safety systems installed, their ongoing maintenance and the management procedures in place to ensure both building and occupant safety in the event of a fire.
The One & Only Royal Mirage - Dubai
The One & Only Royal Mirage pays tribute to Arabian architecture and hospitality on a truly regal scale. Considered the most stylish resort on Jumeirah Beach, it comprises three equally distinctive properties - the original The Palace hotel, now the Arabian Court, the Residence and the Spa. Locke Carey have undertaken Fire Safety Inspections for and on behalf of the client and architects.
Between The Bridges, Abu Dhabi
This AED 800 million project was named 'Between the Bridges' due to the fact that it lies on a 900 metre stretch between the Al-Maqtaa and Al Musafah bridges that lead onto the island of Abu Dhabi. Locke Carey provided Strategic Fire Engineering advice.
Palm Jumeirah, Transit System, Dubai
Locke Carey was asked by Nakheel to carry out an assessment of the emergency evacuation methods available for the Palm Jumeirah Transit System (PJTS).
