Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP)

Locke Carey is always seeking to encourage suitably qualified young engineers to enter the fire safety industry. We actively support the Government Sponsored KTP Scheme by taking on Associates to work within the Company. In this way technology is transferred from the academic world into the commercial arena and young engineers are given valuable work experience plus an opportunity to continue their academic work by way of fire related research projects. Student Work Placements
Locke Carey has a policy of inviting suitable undergraduate students into the Company for the summer recess to experience life in a busy fire safety consultancy. Past students who have joined us for the summer have managed to gain employment within our Company or have gone onto successful careers with other employers. If you are interested in a summer work placement please contact the office you wish to join and ask to speak with a manager or Associate Director in the office you wish to join.
