Shell Petroleum Development
Locke Carey carried out site visits and inspections to a number of Shell Petroleum Development Corporation (SPDC), Nigeria facilities during November and December 2005.
The purpose of the visit was to undertake a qualitative risk assessment of the SPDC facilities and processes, to evaluate the capability of the SPDC Fire Service, to make recommendations where the risk from fire and level of fire cover are mismatched and finally, to examine alternative methods of providing fire cover.
